Auto Damage Adjuster (Field)
About The Position
GEICO is hiring an experienced Auto Damage Adjuster to handle auto damage claims in the Corpus Christi/Victoria, Texas territory. The role requires at least 12 months of auto damage experience and a demonstrated record of providing excellent customer service while settling claims promptly and accurately. The ideal candidate can use technical and industry knowledge to handle complex claims. This is not a remote-only role; the position may involve field, in-office, or remote work, and requires flexibility with the primary work location. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available to candidates with an active adjuster license in good standing. GEICO will not sponsor new employment authorization for this position.
Requirements
- At least 12 months of auto damage experience.
- A Motor Vehicle Damage Adjuster/Appraiser's License.
- A valid driver's license and ability to meet company underwriting guidelines.
- Ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits.
- Flexibility with primary work location; work may involve remote, field, or in-office settings.
- Solid computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and effective decision-making skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with willingness to expand these abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
