About The Position
GEICO is hiring an experienced Auto Damage Adjuster for the West Cleveland/Avon, Ohio area. The role involves promptly and accurately settling auto damage claims, delivering excellent customer service, and handling complex claims using technical and industry knowledge. This is not a remote role; the adjuster must work in the territory listed in the posting. The position may require flexibility among remote, field, and in-office work locations. GEICO does not sponsor new applicants for employment authorization for this position.
Requirements
- At least 12 months of auto damage experience and a demonstrated record of success delivering excellent customer service while promptly and accurately settling claims.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company underwriting guidelines.
- Ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits.
- Flexibility with primary work location; the position may require remote, field, or in-office work.
- Solid computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and multitasking skills.
- Effective attention to detail and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and willingness to expand those abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
