About The Position

Caliber is hiring an Auto Body Technician for its service center in Fort Oglethorpe. The technician performs collision repairs, including frame and structural repairs, panel work, and reassembly, with an emphasis on accurate, high-quality work and workplace safety. The role involves collaborating with painters, estimators, and front-office staff. Requirements

• At least two years of experience repairing collision-damaged vehicles.
• Knowledge of frame and structural repair, including pulling, straightening, and squaring components.
• Commitment to following repair procedures and completing repairs correctly the first time.
• Strong attention to detail, including with bolts and welds.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Team-first attitude and ability to collaborate with coworkers.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• I-CAR certifications.
• ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Blueprint repairs and complete them accurately without shortcuts.
• Perform full collision repairs, from minor damage to frame rebuilds.
• Repair panels and structural components to restore them to factory specifications.
• Reassemble vehicles with attention to fit and finish.
• Collaborate with teammates, including painters, estimators, and front-office staff.
• Keep the work area safe and tidy.
