About The Position

Caliber is hiring an Auto Body Technician for its Lockport service center. The technician performs collision repairs, including frame and structural work, panel repairs, and reassembly, with an emphasis on accurate, high-quality repairs and a safe, clean work area. The role involves collaborating with painters, estimators, and front office staff. The position offers flat-rate pay of $60,000 to $100,000 or more, depending on experience, along with career growth opportunities, training for I-CAR and ASE certifications, paid time off, six company-wide holidays, and medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match benefits beginning on day one.

Requirements

At least two years of experience repairing collision-damaged vehicles.
Knowledge of frame and structural repair, including pulling, straightening, and squaring components.
Commitment to following repair plans and completing repairs correctly without shortcuts.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Team-oriented approach and ability to collaborate with colleagues.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without restrictions.

Responsibilities

Blueprint and perform precise collision repairs.
Perform full collision repairs, from minor damage to frame rebuilds.
Repair panels and structural components to restore them to factory specifications.
Reassemble vehicles with attention to fit and finish.
Collaborate with painters, estimators, and front office staff to move repairs through the service center.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
