About The Position

Carvana is hiring an entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician to prepare vehicles for paint at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work includes sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging and tear down, and buffing. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees to support the development of their skills and pay as the company grows.

The role is part of Carvana’s vehicle reconditioning operation, where vehicles are inspected, perfected, and photographed before being listed on the company’s website. The position requires working in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license; some positions may require a motor vehicle records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, with possible exposure to heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
