About The Position

Carvana is seeking an Auto Body Repair Technician to perform light automotive bodywork at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work includes preparing, sanding, and buffing vehicles; removing and installing bumpers; minor plastic welding; and small-area bodywork, including Bondo repair. Entry-level employees may receive training programs to help their skills and pay progress. The role requires working in a fast-paced production environment and may involve mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
