About The Position

Carvana is hiring an entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician to prepare vehicles for paint at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work includes sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging and tear down, and buffing. Training programs are available to help entry-level employees develop their skills and progress in pay. The position is scheduled for second shift, Monday through Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., and may be subject to overtime.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
