This position offers a $5,000 New Hire Signing Bonus. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 6:30 am to 3:30 pm. The role involves inspecting damaged vehicles, assessing repair requirements, and preparing vehicles for body repair work. Repairs include dent removals, fixing body lines, and plastic welding. The technician will restore damaged vehicle bodies to factory or pre-accident condition, including removing, repairing, or replacing damaged components like bumpers, fenders, doors, panels, and trims. Surface preparation for painting involves sanding, masking, priming, and applying fillers. Guide Coat, Primer, and Bondo are utilized. The role requires ensuring proper alignment of panels, gaps, and body lines, and knowledge of operating stud welding equipment. Adherence to repair orders, company standards, and OEM repair procedures is expected, along with completing assigned work within established timeframes. Quality control inspections are necessary to ensure repairs meet safety and appearance standards. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, along with tools and equipment, is important. Effective communication with supervisors, estimators, and team members regarding repair progress and issues is required. Following all safety guidelines and environmental regulations is mandatory.
