This position offers a $5,000 New Hire Signing Bonus. The work schedule is Monday - Friday 6:30 am to 3:30 pm. The role involves inspecting damaged vehicles, assessing repair requirements, and preparing vehicles for body repair work. Responsibilities include performing body repairs such as dent removals, fixing body lines, and plastic welding. The technician will repair, restore, and refinish damaged vehicle bodies to return them to factory or pre-accident condition. This includes removing, repairing, or replacing damaged components like bumpers, fenders, doors, panels, and trims. Surface preparation for painting involves sanding, masking, priming, and applying fillers, utilizing Guide Coat, Primer, and Bondo. Ensuring proper alignment of panels, gaps, and body lines is crucial. Knowledge of operating Stud welding equipment is required. The technician must follow repair orders accurately, complete assigned work within established timeframes, and maintain high-quality workmanship by adhering to company standards and OEM repair procedures. Quality control inspections are necessary to ensure repairs meet safety and appearance standards. The role also requires keeping the work area clean and organized, maintaining tools and equipment, and communicating effectively with supervisors, estimators, and team members regarding repair progress and issues. Following all safety guidelines and environmental regulations is mandatory.
