About The Position

Carvana is hiring an entry-level Auto Body Refinish Tech to prepare vehicles for paint at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. Work includes sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging or tear down, and buffing. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees so their skills and pay can progress with the company. The role is listed as second shift and may require mandatory overtime based on business needs. The position is part of Carvana’s vehicle reconditioning operation, where vehicles are inspected, perfected, and photographed before being listed for customers. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments or equipment.
Must pass a complete background check.
