About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Auto Body Painter for its vehicle reconditioning operations. The role involves preparing vehicles for painting by priming and performing final sanding, as well as buffing, touch-up work, paint mixing, and airbrushing. Painters work with state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech Inspection Center. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees to support skill and pay progression. The role requires at least one year of professional automotive painting experience. Candidates must be able to work mandatory overtime when business needs require it and operate in a fast-paced, changing production environment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age and possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Ability to use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
