About The Position
Caliber Collision is hiring an Auto Body Apprentice to perform all-purpose duties, including helping repair damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition using industry-approved techniques. The apprentice is responsible for learning training material and hands-on skills, following a mentor’s direction, and learning to read estimates, identify damage, repair vehicles, and inspect work for quality and accuracy.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
- Be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
- Be able to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
- Be able to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Be able to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.
