An Audit Senior will perform in-charge responsibilities as assigned on larger and more complex engagements. They will demonstrate a thorough understanding of technical accounting literature within the GAAP and SEC hierarchies and have an understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques for complex financial statement areas. An Audit Senior will develop and enhance client relationships through strong communication and project management skills. They will execute engagement planning activities which include gathering information for time budgets, coordinating all planning activities on engagements with the supervision and guidance from more experienced staff, and designing a risk based audit approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2-4+ years of experience in public accounting experience, industry, or a combination of both
  • Commercial industry experience
  • Basic familiarity with GAAP and GAAS

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Ability to mentor and help develop less experienced staff
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • Strong project management, team orientation and interpersonal skills
