About The Position

Weaver’s Audit practice is seeking an Associate to perform assigned audit procedures and help complete audit engagements. The Associate works closely with Senior Associates and Managers to identify and resolve issues encountered during financial statement audits. Responsibilities also include developing clear and effective work papers and assisting with financial statement preparation. The Associate develops a professional development plan with their group leader. The role offers flexibility and meaningful, diverse client work in a supportive and innovative environment. The ideal candidate is a team player who takes initiative and responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA candidate.
• 0–1+ years of public accounting or industry experience, or a combination of both.
• Basic familiarity with GAAP and GAAS.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to exhibit initiative, accept responsibility, and manage multiple concurrent assignments.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA.
