Revu Healthcare•North Brunswick, NJ
•Remote

About The Position

Revu Healthcare is seeking an experienced, certified coding professional to coordinate audit projects from handoff through final deliverables. This is a remote, independent contractor (1099) engagement for up to 20 hours per week, with hours varying according to project volume and no minimum hours guaranteed. The coordinator serves as the day-to-day client contact for assigned projects and works closely with the Director of Operations and consulting team to keep reviews accurate, organized, and on schedule. Candidates must reside in and perform all work from within the United States. Revu operates on Eastern Time, and deadlines and meeting times follow ET unless otherwise identified. Invoicing is biweekly; no benefits are provided. Responsibilities include confirming that project accounts have the documentation needed for review, requesting and tracking missing documentation, assigning projects to consultants, running internal kickoffs, and holding weekly consultant touchpoints. The coordinator tracks account progress against timelines, manages short extensions under Revu procedures, and participates in Audit Operations check-ins with the Director of Operations, currently scheduled Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The role performs quality assurance reviews of consultant findings for coding accuracy, guideline support, and consistent rationale, while maintaining audit worksheets and account status tracking. It also includes weekly Friday client updates, escalation of documentation, access, timeline, and other concerns, preparation of preliminary and final verbal readouts for Director of Operations approval, tracking the 14-business-day client rebuttal period, cross-checking rebuttal outcomes against preliminary findings, and supporting written reports. Selection includes a written assessment covering coding, quality assurance, project oversight, administrative tasks, and communication and feedback, as well as a hands-on QA exercise. Onboarding involves QA review of mock accounts in Revu's audit worksheet using fictional medical records based on real review scenarios, followed by shadowing a live project before independently coordinating projects.
