About The Position

Performs audiological and vestibular function testing and treatment. Educates patients, caregivers, and family members on treatment options and continuing care. Develops, documents, implements, and evaluates a plan of care. Collaborates with patient care team to integrate and coordinate plan of care. Care is provided through evidence based practice and research. Provides or recommends personal and area sound modification devices and strategies, including hearing aids, implants, and alerting devices.

Requirements

• Masters: Audiology (Required)
• Audiologist License (AY LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
• BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
• BLS American Heart RQI E-Card (BLS AHA-RQI ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
• BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
• BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE)
• BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC) - Red Cross (RED CROSS)
• Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• No prior work experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Certificate of clinical competence- Audiology (CCC-A) is preferred.
