About The Position
The Audio Visual Technician is responsible for setting up and operating audio and visual equipment for a variety of events and venues. The role requires excellent customer service skills, an understanding of audio and visual systems, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. The position is at The Joule in Dallas, Texas.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of audio and visual equipment.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and accurately.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate, set up, and maintain audio and visual equipment, including projectors, speakers, microphones, and other equipment as needed.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs.
- Ensure all audio and visual equipment meets safety standards.
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested by leadership.
