About The Position

SNA Event Productions (SNAEP) is seeking a skilled and reliable part-time Audiovisual Technician. The technician sets up, operates, and maintains audiovisual equipment for meetings, conferences, events, and other hotel activities, providing technical support and helping ensure high-quality AV services and a seamless experience for guests and clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience in AV setup and troubleshooting, preferably in a hotel or event setting.
• Strong knowledge of AV equipment, including sound systems, video conferencing tools, projectors, and lighting systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Basic understanding of networking and signal flow.
• A technical degree or certification in Audio-Visual technology is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate audiovisual equipment, including projectors, sound systems, microphones, video conferencing systems, and lighting for meetings, conferences, banquets, and other events.
• Provide on-site technical support during events and promptly troubleshoot and resolve AV-related issues.
• Regularly inspect and maintain AV equipment to ensure functionality, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Maintain an inventory of AV equipment and assist with ordering new equipment as necessary.
• Keep accurate records of AV setups and technical issues, including maintenance logs and event feedback.
