Audience Growth & Lifecycle Manager

The DispatchWashington, DC
Hybrid

About The Position

The Dispatch is seeking an Audience Growth & Lifecycle Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of its membership business. This role is responsible for the entire growth funnel, from audience development at the top, to lifecycle marketing in the middle, and retention at the end. The successful candidate will build and launch campaigns, conduct conversion and paywall tests, manage email lifecycle flows, and use data to inform decisions. This position offers a broad scope of work, touching acquisition, conversion, retention, and reporting, and requires a candidate who understands how to build with limited resources and desires ownership and upside. The role is based in Washington, D.C. (hybrid), with a preference for local candidates, though exceptional remote candidates may be considered. The company has strong fundamentals, including high-quality editorial, a trusted brand, and a loyal paying audience, but needs to build sustainable systems for reaching new audiences and coordinating existing programs like email, paywall, and retention efforts. This role will leverage the company's robust data infrastructure to drive growth.
