About The Position

Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys is seeking an ambitious and passionate Trial Lawyer with workers compensation experience to join its growing team. The firm is based in Alabama and has offices across the nation. Trial Lawyers work with attorneys nationwide and receive support from local and remote staff. They handle cases from intake through settlement or jury verdict, with a typical day involving client communication, depositions, legal research and drafting, mediations, case strategy, and trials. Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the Massachusetts State Bar.
• Experience drafting and responding to motions.
• Substantial knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience practicing workers compensation is preferred.
• The firm is open to new graduates with a track record of academic success.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Lead mediations.
• Develop case strategies.

• Take cases to trial.
