About The Position

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to oversee and manage primary medical care for residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. The physician serves as residents’ primary care provider and works collaboratively with a dedicated full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support excellent patient care. The position may offer professional growth into a Medical Director/Attending Physician leadership role for candidates interested in expanding their clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

Board-certified physician.
Experience in primary care and long-term care (LTC).
Strong leadership skills and the ability to support and mentor NPs and PAs in delivering care.
Ability to meet the physical demands described: prolonged standing and walking on facility floors; carrying a medical bag, laptop, tablet, or diagnostic equipment; bending, stooping, or assisting with positioning during exams; navigating multi-level buildings, potentially with stairs or uneven surfaces; and lifting or moving patients.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary care provider for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) and manage their medical care.
Conduct patient rounds and collaborate with NPs and PAs to assess and manage resident care.
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and oversee management of ongoing medical conditions.
Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents and their families.
Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to healthcare regulations.
Work with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care.
