About The Position

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to oversee and manage primary medical care for residents at skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. The physician will serve as residents’ primary care provider and work collaboratively with a dedicated full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support excellent patient care. The role may offer an opportunity to grow into a Medical Director/Attending Physician leadership position, with expanded clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

Be a board-certified physician.
Have experience in primary care and long-term care.
Have strong leadership skills and the ability to support and mentor Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
Be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand, walk, or work on your feet for up to 6–8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary care provider for residents in skilled nursing facilities and manage their medical care.
Conduct patient rounds and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to assess and manage resident care.
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and oversee the management of ongoing medical conditions.
Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents and their families.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations.
Work with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care.
Support and mentor Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in delivering care.
