About The Position

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to oversee and manage primary medical care for residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. The physician serves as the residents’ primary care provider and is supported by a dedicated full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The role involves collaborating with advanced practice providers and facility care teams to deliver compassionate, personalized care and support residents’ health and well-being.

Requirements

Board-certified physician.
Experience in primary care and long-term care.
Strong leadership skills.
Ability to effectively support and mentor Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods on facility floors.
Ability to carry a medical bag, laptop, tablet, or diagnostic equipment.
Ability to bend, stoop, or assist with positioning during examinations.
Ability to navigate multi-level buildings, potentially including stairs or uneven surfaces.
Ability to lift or move patients.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary care provider for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities and take responsibility for their medical management.
Conduct patient rounds and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to assess and manage resident care.
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and oversee the management of ongoing medical conditions.
Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents and their families.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations.
Work with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care.
Support and mentor Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in delivering care.
