Attendant - RV Park
About The Position
The Attendant may be assigned to the RV Park or the RV Mini-Mart. The position supports guests and daily operations by stocking merchandise, processing point-of-sale transactions, learning the reservation system and computer registers, and providing information about local tourist attractions. The Attendant also addresses customer concerns, performs cleaning as needed, reports safety or maintenance issues, returns lost-and-found items to security, maintains work records, and follows safety standards. The role includes completing other assigned work requested by the Hotel Supervisor and the Director of Hotel Operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Similar work experience.
- Ability to communicate verbally in English effectively.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Illinois Gaming License.
Responsibilities
- May be assigned to the RV Park or the RV Mini-Mart.
- Stock items neatly and in a timely manner as directed.
- Conduct point-of-sale transactions correctly.
- Learn the reservation system and computer registers.
- Learn about and converse with guests about local tourist attractions.
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a timely, efficient manner.
- Clean the store, restrooms, shower facility, and laundry facility as needed.
- Report safety hazards or maintenance issues immediately to a supervisor.
- Return lost-and-found items to security.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed.
- Follow all instructed safety standards.
- Apply knowledge gained from training, education, and work experience.
- Remain friendly and courteous at all times.
- Complete assignable work requested by the Hotel Supervisor and the Director of Hotel Operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
