About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization within meeting rooms and related areas. The Attendant - Houseman will set up and remove furniture, equipment, and serving stations according to client needs and event orders. This position requires the ability to work independently, adhere to safety policies, and provide excellent service in a fast-paced, 24/7 casino environment. The role involves physical tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal, and requires availability for varied shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Requirements

  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours).
  • Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends.
  • Must be able to work without direct supervision.
  • Comply fully with the company’s safety policies and procedures.
  • Follow the Company Service Standards model.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily work assignments.
  • Set up and remove tables, chairs, and other equipment in meeting rooms as assigned.
  • Set up and remove audio visual equipment as specified on the Banquet Event Order.
  • Set up and remove buffet tables and other food serving tables, including portable bars.
  • Vacuum all meeting rooms as assigned.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
  • Maintain stock of meeting room supplies (e.g., notepads, pencils, flip chart pads) and report needs to supervisors.
  • Perform thorough dusting of all meeting rooms.
  • Set up and assist the banquet chef in the kitchen with the setup of chafers and buffets.
  • Keep back corridor walls and doors free of dirt, smudges, and fingerprints.
  • Ensure all carts are free of trash and linen at the end of the shift.
  • Remove all trash from meeting rooms to the dumpster.
  • Report any lighting needs to the supervisor.
  • Store all equipment used.
  • Work without direct supervision.
  • Comply fully with the company’s safety policies and procedures.
  • Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time (7+ hours).
  • Follow the Company Service Standards model.
  • Be available for regularly scheduled work and work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
