About The Position

This role involves the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, aircraft communication equipment, and associated components. Mechanics are responsible for signing off on completed work and must remain vigilant for defective, worn, or failed parts, as well as ensure a safe working condition. Housekeeping duties, such as maintaining the work area and company property, may also be assigned. The mechanic will perform all tasks assigned by supervisors or higher management. When exercising authority under RII provisions, the mechanic reports directly to the Director of Quality Control. Attendance at all assigned Company training classes is required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must complete a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check.
  • Experience with 757/767 aircraft.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with customers and co-workers.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and reach.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Comply with ATI attendance requirements.
  • Shall have a valid passport or the ability to get one.
  • At the direction of department manager, travel to other ATI stations to assist with maintenance.

Nice To Haves

  • Parts 121, 125, 145; Heavy transport category aircraft experience preferred.
  • Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a).

Responsibilities

  • Overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, aircraft communication equipment and associated components in accordance with Company manuals, manufacturer’s manuals, including policies, Procedures Bulletins and Orders.
  • Sign for work accomplished.
  • Be constantly alert for defective, worn or failed parts as well as safe working condition.
  • Perform housekeeping duties such as policing work area or repair and maintenance of company property.
  • Perform all tasks assigned by the Supervisor or higher management.
  • Exercise authority under RII provisions and be directly responsible to the Director of Quality Control.
  • Attend all Company training classes as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
