About The Position

The Ticket Taker position will support the Athletics department by performing general ticket selling duties for YC athletic events; scanning tickets during events; assisting patrons who have questions. This position will gain marketable work experience by working with Yavapai College staff, Faculty and affiliates in a group effort to support the mission, goals and values of Yavapai College.

Requirements

Federal Work Study (FWS) eligibility
Current aid year FAFSA verified and on file at Yavapai College
Funded for at least 6 credit hours while employed in this position
In good financial aid standing at Yavapai College
Unmet need as determined by the FAFSA
Receiving financial aid from Yavapai College
All hiring documents must be completed prior to first work shift, including acceptable documentation for the I-9 Form
Work with a diverse student population
Exhibit patience and a positive attitude
Demonstrate reliability and good customer service skills
Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate time management and organizational skills, and ability to complete a variety of tasks on immediate or extended timelines
