About The Position

Work Right NW is seeking a part-time Certified Athletic Trainer to provide on-the-job care in an industrial setting in Kansas City, Kansas. The role focuses on helping workers stay healthy, safe, and injury-free through injury-risk evaluation, early symptom intervention, rehabilitation, wellness programs, and data-driven solutions. The schedule is Mondays from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at $39 per hour.

The Athletic Trainer works with safety professionals and ergonomists, uses computer vision tools and data analytics, and contributes to programs that improve worker health. Work Right NW describes its team as certified and licensed Athletic Trainers and licensed Physical Therapists who bring clinical skill, compassion, and collaboration to the sites they serve.

Requirements

• BOC Certification is required.
• Ability to quickly understand client requirements and adapt to diverse work environments.
• Self-motivation and efficiency, including when working without direct supervision.
• Expertise in evidence-based clinical practices for evaluating, providing first aid, and treating orthopedic or sports-related injuries.
• An open, friendly, and outgoing personality that connects easily in various settings.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-the-job care and evaluate injury risks using computer vision tools.
