While performing the duties of an Athletic Trainer in the school districts contracted with St. Charles Hospital, the athletic trainer acts within their scope of practice to provides assessment, treatment, first aid, and emergency care to the student athletes as defined in the Athletic Training Services Standing Orders and under the administrative oversight of the Medical Director. In the clinic, the outpatient athletic trainer works under the direct supervision of physical and occupational therapists and therapist assistants to assist with patient care; patient flow and maintenance of the treatment space and facility.
