About The Position

The Athletic Trainer provides athletic training coverage and support for assigned sports teams and schools, as directed by the Clinical Supervisor for Rehabilitation Services or Sports Medicine. The position supports and coordinates athletic training activities, including injury prevention, immediate injury assessment, evaluation, treatment, and appropriate injury triage.

The successful candidate works with athletes and sports teams to promote safety, support injury management, and help ensure appropriate care and coordination when injuries occur.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Active Oregon Athletic Trainer License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Current BOC (Board of Certification) athletic trainer membership upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience working as an Athletic Trainer in a school or college environment.
• Experience providing athletic training coverage for sports teams.
• Experience with injury prevention, immediate injury assessment, evaluation, treatment, and triage.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with athletes, school personnel, and healthcare professionals.
