About The Position
The Athletic Trainer evaluates and treats patients following athletic injuries. He/she also assumes administrative duties as delegated by the department manager. The Athletic Trainer evaluates on-field, on-court injuries and treats sports injuries making referrals as appropriate. In the clinic setting the incumbent functions as Physical Therapist Aide. In the gym the incumbent functions as a Coach.
Requirements
- BS or higher degree in Athletic Training
- Holds current Illinois ATC License.
- Current CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and treats patients following athletic injuries.
- Assumes administrative duties as delegated by the department manager.
- Evaluates on-field, on-court injuries and treats sports injuries making referrals as appropriate.
- Functions as Physical Therapist Aide in the clinic setting.
- Functions as a Coach in the gym.
