About the position
Terray Therapeutics is seeking an Associate/Sr. Associate Automation Engineer to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining automated systems in the wet-lab, working closely with the scientific and production teams. They will also provide support for custom-built microscopy platforms and contribute to the development of new processes. The ideal candidate should be thoughtful, high-energy, and able to partner with the organization to enhance drug discovery capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Partner with scientific and production teams to design, acquire, and implement laboratory automation platforms
- Provide service and support for custom-built microscopy platforms, including integrated fluidics
- Support development of new processes on microscope platforms
- Design experiments for process optimization
- De-novo design of custom systems for niche applications within our processes
Requirements
- Experience in designing, acquiring, and implementing laboratory automation platforms
- Proficiency in providing service and support for custom-built microscopy platforms, including integrated fluidics
- Ability to support the development of new processes on microscope platforms
- Strong skills in designing experiments for process optimization
- Capability in de-novo designing of custom systems for niche applications within the processes
- Thoughtful and high-energy approach to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to partner with the broader organization to enhance next-generation drug discovery capabilities
