About The Position
Leon and Associated is looking for an Experienced Licensed Personal Injury Associate Attorney. You will play a pivotal role in our client legal team, and will be responsible for handling a caseload of personal injury cases, providing legal counsel, negotiating claims pre-litigation and representing clients in court. Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Maryland AND/OR Virginia
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law.
- Strong knowledge of personal injury laws and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse caseload with autonomy.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to client advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Handle a caseload of personal injury cases, from intake to resolution.
- Conduct legal research, analysis, and case evaluation.
- Develop and implement legal strategies for clients.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, pleadings, and motions.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals and staff to achieve case objectives.
- Maintain client communication and provide updates on case progress.
