About The Position

IndeVets is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Grand Rapids, MI. This role offers a unique approach to veterinary medicine, prioritizing work-life balance and veterinarian well-being. As a full-time W-2 veterinarian, you will work 4-5 days per week, with a schedule built in advance by a dedicated coordinator. The role emphasizes clinical autonomy, patient care over numbers, and provides a strong support system including medical leadership, mentorship, a community of peers, and access to a veterinary social worker. Requirements

  • DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
  • Active license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
  • Confidence practicing independently
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
