About The Position

This role is for an Associate Veterinarian or Hospital Medical Leader at a brand-new Vetco Total Care hospital. The position emphasizes practicing autonomous medicine with support from local Veterinary Area Medical Directors, rather than following cookie-cutter protocols. Success is measured by the quality of care provided, not by the number of appointments scheduled. The role offers flexibility in working hours, with full-time schedules starting at 30 hours per week. It also provides leadership development, paid continuing education, career advancement opportunities, and open paid time off with no negative accruals. There are no on-call or overnight shifts, and the hospital closes for lunch and by 6:00 p.m. every night. The company aims to create a collaborative hospital environment with strong doctor-to-support-staff ratios, credentialed veterinary technicians, skilled support staff, and ongoing training. Bonus opportunities are available for the entire hospital team.

Requirements

  • USDA Category I (minimum) Accreditation or completion within two months of hire date.
