Associate Triage Analyst

About The Position

Proofpoint’s People Centric Managed Services (PCMS) team is seeking an Associate Triage Analyst to support alert triage, event monitoring, and operational checks for supported systems. PCMS helps customers protect information by analyzing content, behavior, and threats through a cloud-native console to reduce data-loss risk and operational costs. The Associate Triage Analyst assists in monitoring events for PCMS customers and escalating necessary events to customers through approved escalation paths. The role also supports reporting and metrics for customers and internal teams, and helps improve monitoring and alerting. Work must comply with Proofpoint’s ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS), including participating in annual information and network security training and accepting ad hoc spot checks. Team members are expected to understand the ISMS and handle client data appropriately.

Requirements

Experience analyzing data from within a large data set.
Customer service experience.
Experience working or being on a team.
Experience with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Assist with monitoring events for Proofpoint PCMS customers.
Escalate necessary events to customers through approved escalation paths.
Assist customers and internal teams with metrics and reporting from security platforms.
Assist with improving monitoring and alerting for Proofpoint PCMS clients.
Adhere to the company’s ISO 27001 Information Security Management System, including annual information and network security training and ad hoc spot checks.
