This Associate Therapist role is designed for clinicians at the beginning of their careers who are ready to be part of an extraordinary practice. It offers a unique opportunity to learn and practice trauma-informed, whole-person psychotherapy within a team committed to collective learning and growth. Clinical supervision at Zeeva is a collaborative process, with the practice investing in the clinician's development. Associates will receive training in AMSR (Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk) and Motivational Interviewing, with access to an advanced evidence-based CEU program and an in-house EMDR certification pathway.

Requirements

  • Active California BBS registration as an AMFT, ASW, or APCC.
  • A foundation in trauma-informed practice.
  • Working knowledge of DSM-5, clinical documentation, HIPAA, and California laws and ethics.
  • Available full-time: 25 completed sessions per week with 30 calendar openings.
  • Available at least 6 clinical hours weekly on evenings (after 4pm) and/or weekends.
  • Available to see clients in our new Sherman Oaks office a minimum of 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Carry a clinical caseload across diverse presentations.
  • Participate in weekly individual supervision.
  • Engage in group supervision and collective team learning.
  • Conduct trauma-informed case conceptualization, treatment planning, and utilize evidence-based interventions.
  • Perform Biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessments and create personalized treatment plans.
  • Complete concurrent documentation that is simplified and streamlined, fully electronic and supported by AI-assisted QA.
