About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Seattle, WA. This role involves coordinating activities to facilitate the quick return to service for emergent customer requirements, such as Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations. The specialist will enter, track, monitor, and coordinate customer material and delivery requirements for emergent escalations, and advise customers on order status, changes, or improvements for AOG Hard Grounded requirements. This position acts as a liaison, communicating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and drive solutions for customer hard-grounded aircraft situations. The role also involves reviewing and deciphering engineering data for alternate problem resolution, supporting suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plans, and collecting/processing supplier and/or customer data regarding products, services, repair capabilities, and capacity. The specialist will assess and analyze customer escalations, formulate problem resolutions, and utilize multiple Boeing systems in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, adapting to changing conditions and managing multiple concurrent deadlines. The ideal candidate must be self-driven and able to ask questions in a team environment.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience working in Supply Chain
  • Must be able to work any shift
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Able to work both independently and also in a collaborative team environment
  • Able to work in fast paced environment while being able to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities
