About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Seattle, WA. This role involves coordinating activities to facilitate the quick return to service for emergent customer requirements, such as Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations. The specialist will enter, track, monitor, and coordinate customer material and delivery requirements for emergent escalations, advising customers on order status and changes. A key part of the role is acting as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement solutions for customers with hard-grounded aircraft. This includes reviewing engineering data for alternate problem resolution, supporting suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plans, and collecting/processing supplier and customer data related to products, services, repair capabilities, and capacity. The position requires assessing and analyzing customer escalations, formulating problem resolutions, and utilizing multiple Boeing systems in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Adaptability, the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines, self-drive, and a willingness to ask questions in a team environment are essential.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience working in Supply Chain
  • Must be able to work any shift
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Able to work both independently and also in a collaborative team environment
  • Able to work in fast paced environment while being able to meet strict deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the activities required to facilitate the quick return to service for emergent customer requirements (e.g. AOG)
  • Enter, track, monitor and coordinate customer material, delivery requirements for emergent escalations
  • Advise customers regarding order status, changes or improvements on AOG Hard Grounded requirements
  • Act as a liaison communicating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and drive a solution to support customer hard grounded aircraft situation
  • Review and decipher engineering data for alternate problem resolution
  • Support suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plan
  • Assist in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities and capacity
  • Act as a liaison with multiple stakeholders to accomplish a common objective
  • Assess and analyze customer escalations and formulate problem resolutions
  • Uses multiple Boeing systems in a fast-paced environment for AOG Hard grounded requirements
  • Able to adapt in a fast-changing and high-stress work environment
