About The Position

As an Associate Carrier Sales Representative at RXO, you will source, negotiate, and secure carriers to move available freight in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will cultivate carrier relationships, coordinate communication and shipment details, maintain accurate operating-system information, and help ensure billing accuracy.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong core carrier relationships while negotiating and securing carriers to move freight.
• Maintain continuous communication with carriers and customers to ensure a high-quality freight movement process.
• Ensure all parties are informed of route changes, delays, freight concerns, and other issues as necessary.
• Schedule pickup and delivery appointments, using judgment and insight about factors such as weather, traffic, miles, and service rules.
• Follow established procedures and protocols regarding HVS and HRC loads to protect shipment integrity and the RXO brand.
• Accurately maintain and update information in the company’s operating systems.
• Research available databases for potential leads and make cold calls to prospects.
• Track back-end billing and invoicing to ensure carrier charges are accurate.
