About The Position

GLG is seeking Healthcare Associates to support its Healthcare business. This role is intended for candidates with an academic background in a healthcare-related discipline and offers the opportunity to deliver client service in a performance-driven, merit-based, team-oriented environment. Associates connect leading professionals at financial services firms, consultancies, and corporations with first-hand expertise through GLG’s Insight Network.

Associates communicate directly with clients and experts, manage projects, and develop client relationships. Through onboarding, apprenticeship, training, coaching, and mentoring, Associates build project management, communication, account management, and commercial skills. Within a few months, Associates are expected to own the project lifecycle and regularly engage with clients and experts. High-performing individual contributors may have the opportunity to become people managers and lead future Associates.

The position is for a February 2027 start. Full-year compensation can exceed $90,000, comprising a $75,000 annual base salary and uncapped performance-linked variable compensation. Actual compensation depends on candidate-specific factors, including skills, experience, certifications, and work location. Some roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; an academic background in a healthcare-related discipline is required for consideration.
• 0–3 years of work experience in client-facing, sales, or account management roles.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including comfort with phone-based outreach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
• Receptiveness to close coaching and feedback.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
• Hustle and tenacity to go above and beyond to delight clients.
• Appreciation for data and understanding of numbers.
• Willingness to work flexible and extended hours, including evenings and some holidays, based on client needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients daily to build relationships, provide tailored support, and deploy customized solutions.
• Own client projects from start to finish, including scoping projects, finding or recruiting appropriate experts, and delivering high-quality outcomes to clients and experts.
• Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and internal stakeholders to present GLG’s product suite, maximize commercial outcomes, grow revenue, and retain existing accounts.
