About The Position

GLG is hiring Healthcare Associates to support its Healthcare business. Candidates must have an academic background in a healthcare-related discipline. Associates provide best-in-class client service in a performance-driven, merit-based, and team-oriented environment, connecting clients—including financial services firms, consultancies, and corporations—with relevant experts from GLG’s Insight Network.

The role involves fast-paced communication and direct collaboration with clients and experts. Associates receive onboarding, apprenticeship, training, coaching, and mentoring, and develop skills in project delivery, client relationship-building, expert engagement, project management, and communication. Within a few months, Associates are expected to own the project lifecycle and communicate frequently with leading clients and experts.

Associates work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with colleagues around the world. The role can offer a path to people management for Associates who outperform as individual contributors. Compensation can exceed $90,000 for a full year, consisting of a $75,000 annual base salary and uncapped performance-linked variable compensation. Actual compensation depends on factors including skills, experience, certifications, and work location.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; applicants must also have an academic background in a healthcare-related discipline.
• 0–3 years of work experience in client-facing, sales, or account management roles.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including comfort with phone-based outreach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
• Receptiveness to close coaching and feedback.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
• Hustle and tenacity, with a drive to go above and beyond to delight clients.
• Appreciation for data and understanding of numbers.
• Willingness to work flexible and extended hours, including evenings and some holidays, based on client needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients daily to build relationships, deliver tailored support, and deploy custom solutions.
• Own client projects from start to finish, including scoping projects, finding or recruiting appropriate experts, and delivering high-quality outcomes to clients and experts.
• Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and internal stakeholders to present GLG’s product suite, maximize commercial outcomes, grow revenue, and retain existing accounts.
