About The Position

Provides remote technical assistance for end-user hardware and software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment. Serves as the first point of contact for technical issues via phone, email, or remote support tools, resolving routine issues in accordance with established procedures and escalating complex cases to higher-level IT support teams as necessary. “The Offices Under the President will seek to fill the position by means of the Job Fair process.”

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree or higher or Possession of a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate
  • Four (4) years of end-user support experience in help desk or service desk environment or directly related experience or An equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required.
  • Ability to provide basic insight, advice and expertise to other professionals, management, and external contacts in an assigned functional area.
  • Knowledge of basic and standard principles and practices for a specialized area of focus.
  • Knowledge of desktop operating systems, standard office productivity software, and basic networking concepts.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues using established procedures.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to operate as a team player and communicate basic or narrow-defined knowledge to team members and external stakeholders.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
