Associate, RevOps

ValenceNew York, NY

About The Position

Valence is pioneering leadership coaching for large enterprises in an AI-first way, transforming how companies approach learning and development. Our AI-powered personalization adapts to individual goals and organizational culture using machine learning and natural language processing. We have been featured in major publications and work with sophisticated enterprise AI clients globally. Working at Valence means building the team behind one of the fastest-growing companies in enterprise AI, recruiting across GTM and technical roles for a business trusted by major clients. You will partner directly with leadership, own your process end-to-end, and shape the future of AI-first transformation. The bar is high, and you'll be the one who holds it.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in RevOps, GTM/sales engineering, investment banking, or a similarly demanding analytical environment
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Technically hands-on and tool-curious — you've built in tools like Clay, n8n, and Claude Code, and you're comfortable wiring up APIs and automations
  • Comfort with AI/LLM tooling and prompt engineering — you get reliable output from models and design sensible human-in-the-loop checks
  • Working knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce and/or HubSpot)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Growth mindset and a willingness to learn through feedback
  • Clear motivation to join a Series A startup focused on generative AI, LLMs, and ML

Nice To Haves

  • Built marketing/sales attribution models or multi-touch reporting from raw data
  • Operated in a dual-CRM environment (Salesforce ↔ HubSpot), including sync, dedupe, and field-mapping
  • Deep experience with Clay or comparable enrichment tooling (provider waterfalls, complex canvases)
  • Familiarity with Gong or other conversation-intelligence tools as a data source
  • Early or founding RevOps hire experience — you've stood up the function, not just maintained one
  • Production experience with n8n, Zapier, or similar orchestration platforms

Responsibilities

  • Build the revenue engine by designing and implementing scalable processes to improve funnel conversion, objection handling, and pipeline management across marketing, sales, and CS.
  • Own declarative config and reporting in Salesforce and HubSpot (objects, fields, flows, page layouts, approval processes), and keep the broader stack clean, integrated, and efficient.
  • Orchestrate AI personalization by building and maintaining AI-powered workflows for outbound, event engagement, CS expansion signals, and pipeline hygiene — within brand and voice guardrails.
  • Run enrichment in Clay by designing canvases for enrichment, ICP/fit scoring, and dedupe. Own provider waterfall logic, and ensure clean inputs and outputs across Salesforce, HubSpot, and the warehouse.
  • Be the single source of truth by coordinating the flow of data across systems — third-party and bespoke alike — to minimize duplicate records and give Marketing, Sales, and CS data they can trust.
  • Automate the platform by building and operating non-Salesforce automations for routing, task creation, and signal-driven plays, with robust error handling, retries, and alerting — and help automate workflows across the company as we scale.
  • Analyze and report by monitoring key metrics, building clear reports, and surfacing actionable insights that drive decisions across GTM.
  • Drive demand gen and attribution by partnering with marketing on our event-based strategy by enriching, qualifying, and organizing lists of prospects and buyer signals.
  • Keep it reliable and documented by maintaining automations as systems evolve, and maintaining runbooks so your builds are easy to share and onboard against.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary including base + bonuses
  • Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision) from day one
  • Generous PTO, company-wide R&R shutdowns, and paid parental leave
  • Retirement plan support for US and global employees
  • Meaningful ownership in a venture-backed company at a growth inflection point
  • Financial upside that comes from scaling fast
  • Top-up grants as we scale and you deliver exceptional performance — your compensation grows alongside your impact
