About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate Quality Production Specialist to join their team in Huntsville, AL. This on-site position supports Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) and currently operates on a 4x10 work schedule, Monday through Thursday, from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM (Shift B). Initial training and future support may involve variable shifts at the hiring team's discretion. The role involves assisting with the review and validation of product non-conformances, quality procedures, and verification of engineering requirements. The specialist will support analysis to evaluate product, operation, and process quality, and participate in investigations to determine root causes of nonconformances. Key responsibilities include applying basic knowledge of aerospace design for failure and forensic analysis, gathering data for nonconformance disposition, and assisting in developing process improvements for effective corrective/preventive actions. The position also involves planning and conducting product and process audits to ensure compliance with applicable guidance and engineering requirements, working under general supervision. This role requires 100% onsite presence and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience working in Non-Conformance (NCR) processes
  • 1+ years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)
  • 1+ years of experience gathering data and performing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with review and validation of product non-conformances and dispositions, quality procedures and verification of engineering requirements.
  • Supports analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes.
  • Participates in the investigations to determine root cause(s) of nonconformances of plans production material and processes.
  • Ability to apply basic knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.
  • Gathers data and provides recommendations/solutions to disposition nonconformance(s) of plans, products, or processes.
  • Assists with the development, modification, and documentation of actions process improvements to ensure effective corrective/preventive action.
  • Supports concurrence and obtains commitments to support program resolution.
  • Validates that corrective actions are effective in eliminating the cause(s) of product or process nonconformances.
  • Plans and conducts product and process audits to ensure that material is produced in accordance with applicable guidance and is conforming with engineering requirements.
  • Works under general supervision.
