About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Production Specialist to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, WA. This role assists with review and validation of product non-conformances and dispositions, quality procedures and verification of engineering requirements. It supports analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes. The specialist participates in investigations to determine root cause(s) of nonconformances of plans, production material, and processes. Ability to apply basic knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems. Gathers data and provides recommendations/solutions to disposition nonconformance(s) of plans, products, or processes. Assists with the development, modification, and documentation of actions and process improvements to ensure effective corrective/preventive action. Supports concurrence and obtains commitments to support program resolution. Validates that corrective actions are effective in eliminating the cause(s) of product or process nonconformances. Plans and conducts product and process audits to ensure that material is produced in accordance with applicable guidance and is conforming with engineering requirements. Works under general supervision.

Requirements

1+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
1+ years of experience working in Non-Conformance (NCR) processes
1+ years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)
1+ years of experience gathering data and performing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

Ability to apply basic knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical publications and/or specifications
Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment
Experience with regulatory requirements
Experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
