About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Production Specialist to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, WA. This role assists with the review and validation of product non-conformances and dispositions, quality procedures, and verification of engineering requirements. The specialist supports analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations, and processes, and participates in investigations to determine root cause(s) of nonconformances of plans, production material, and processes. The position requires the ability to apply basic knowledge of aerospace design, systems, and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems. The specialist gathers data and provides recommendations/solutions to disposition nonconformance(s) of plans, products, or processes. They also assist with the development, modification, and documentation of actions and process improvements to ensure effective corrective/preventive action, and support concurrence and obtain commitments to support program resolution. Additionally, the role validates that corrective actions are effective in eliminating the cause(s) of product or process nonconformances and plans and conducts product and process audits to ensure that material is produced in accordance with applicable guidance and is conforming with engineering requirements. The role works under general supervision.

Requirements

1+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
1+ years of experience working in Non-Conformance (NCR) processes
1+ years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)
1+ years of experience gathering data and performing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
Ability to apply basic knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities
