Associate Project Manager, Permitting [Illinois]
About The Position
Pulley is hiring an Associate Project Manager, Permitting, based in Illinois, to support its in-house permitting team in delivering fast and reliable permitting outcomes for customers. The role supports lead project managers, conducts accurate permit research, assists with permit plan preparation, collaborates with city staff to resolve nuances and ambiguities, monitors permit status, and ensures timely responses. The associate also provides feedback to product and engineering teams to help refine Pulley’s software platform and works with permitting leadership to improve standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Be located in Illinois.
- Have 3 or more years of experience in construction management or architecture, focused on project management.
- Have experience applying for and obtaining construction permits.
- Be able to research permit requirements accurately.
- Be comfortable interfacing with city staff and navigating administrative processes.
- Be a clear communicator with strong attention to detail.
- Be a proactive problem solver.
