About The Position

Indiana Packers Corporation is hiring full-time Associate Production team members for the Cold Side at its Frankfort, Indiana facility. The role involves processing, packaging, and inspecting meat products in a production environment. Team members may cut, trim, debone, package, label, and prepare products for shipment; operate production equipment; and follow food safety, quality assurance, safety, and sanitation procedures, including USDA regulations and required personal protective equipment.

This is a physically demanding position in a cold, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Employees must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive and strenuous movements. The work environment may include cold, heat, humidity, outdoor conditions, dust, fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and loud noise. Hearing protection and other required personal protective equipment must be used.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, with some weekend work and overtime as needed. The position offers first-shift pay of $20.00 per hour or second-shift pay of $21.00 per hour. On-the-job training is provided. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Previous meat processing, food production, or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. Rehire eligibility requires a 120-day waiting period after the most recent termination, and candidates are ineligible if they have already worked for Indiana Packers three times.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform production tasks such as cutting, trimming, deboning, packaging, labeling, and preparing meat products for shipment.
• Operate production machinery and equipment as needed, following proper procedures.
• Support food safety and quality assurance standards in accordance with company policies and USDA regulations.
• Follow safety and sanitation protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Work with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Assist supervisors and management with additional duties as assigned.
