About The Position

The Production Supervisor provides leadership and direction to hourly team members to meet business requirements for efficient metal production within an Arconic Business System (Lean manufacturing) environment. Under the direction of the Area Manager, the supervisor helps ensure a safe and productive workplace and fosters a positive environment where team members can learn, grow, and develop.

This role works 12-hour shifts, either 4:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m.–4:30 a.m., and rotates between day and night schedules approximately every 2–3 months.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Must meet applicable export-control authorization requirements for access to controlled technology.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification is required at hire. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in Engineering, Leadership, or a technical field from an accredited institution.
• Specialized, vocational, or technical training, such as apprenticeships or Journeyman licensure.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in a union environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product is produced with superior quality, improved recovery, and reliable, consistent delivery performance, using rapid problem solving.
• Accomplish business objectives in accordance with the principles of the Arconic Business System (ABS).
• Coach employees toward the target condition: measurable results; projects that eliminate waste, secure flow, and create a visual factory; and highly engaged employees as teams develop and grow.
• Provide process direction and prioritization to craft employees on off-shifts to resolve equipment issues as needed.
